Our fifth release, the first of 2014 and the second in our 'Holy Grails of Nederbeat' series… Here's Johnny Kendall and the Heralds with 'Girl'. At last, an official reissue of this garage freakbeat monster! Kendall and his group came from Amsterdam and had a hit with 'St. James Infirmary' in 1964. They made their only LP the very next year, but for us beatfreaks, 'Girl' from 1966 is the real deal. Fuelled with loud guitars, a crunchy Kinks-style guitar riff, typical Dutch accent English vocals and well... just a plain killer song. This is a must-have for anyone who hearts the rocking sixties Nederbeat sound. Limited edition quality vinyl reissue, so act fast or cry later.
